What is Truth or dare generator?
Truth or Dare Generator — Draw random truth questions and dares from a curated SFW deck — pick truth, dare, or a random mix and deal up to 20 prompts per round, free.
This tool draws from a fixed SFW truth-or-dare deck (52 truth questions and 59 dare challenges) taken from the open-source vigneshbs33/truth-or-dare dataset (MIT), included verbatim — no prompts are invented by this site. Each run performs a Fisher-Yates shuffle of the deck and takes the first N items, so every ordering is equally likely and no prompt repeats within a round. A numeric seed switches the shuffle to a deterministic mulberry32 PRNG; without a seed it uses Math.random. Limitations: the deck is fixed, so separate rounds can repeat prompts; "random" mode labels items by kind but does not weight truths vs dares equally (the deck itself is not 50/50). No AI is involved.

How to use Truth or Dare Generator
- 1Pick a mode from the "Mode" dropdown: truth for questions only, dare for challenges only, or random for a mix of both.
- 2Enter "How many" prompts you want — any number from 1 to 20 per round.
- 3Optionally set a "Seed" if you want a reproducible draw: the same seed always deals the same truths and dares.
- 4Run the tool and read your prompts. In random mode each item is labeled "Truth:" or "Dare:" so players know what they drew.
- 5Play through the round, then draw again for a fresh shuffle — draws never repeat within a single round.

Good to know
- The deck is fixed at 52 truths and 59 dares from the vendored open-source dataset — prompts cannot be customized or added.
- Draws are without replacement within a single run only; separate rounds can repeat prompts.
- Random mode draws from the combined deck, so the truth/dare split per round follows the deck ratio (not 50/50).
- The seed makes the shuffle deterministic, but the same seed on a changed deck version would deal different prompts.
