Is this product photo tool really free?

Yes — the AI background-removal model runs on your own device, so there is no server cost and nothing to charge. No account, no credits, no watermarks.

Are my product photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Cutout and compositing happen entirely in your browser; your photos never leave your device. The only download is the AI model itself, from Hugging Face.

What size is the output?

Always a 2000×2000 px square on pure white — a standard marketplace listing size. Your product is scaled to fit with a 5% margin on each side.

JPG or PNG — which should I choose?

JPG is smaller and loads faster on listings; PNG is lossless and keeps text on packaging crisper. Both have identical backgrounds and cutouts.

Can I use the results on Amazon or my store?

The output format matches typical marketplace photo rules, but check the model license: RMBG-1.4 is source-available for non-commercial use, and commercial use needs an agreement with BRIA. Marketplace photo rules also change — verify current requirements.
